We initially listed our $1M+ home with a well-known agent from Long & Foster in early August. Unfortunately, after months on the market we had very little activity- hardly any showings, and the few we did have never turned into offers. After four months of inactivity, my wife felt it was time to change course. She researched top local agents with strong track records and narrowed it down to three- one of them being Michelle Pappas. From our very first introductory phone call, Michelle stood out. She was confident, direct, and clear in her plan. She told us she could sell our home and that she expected to generate multiple offers within the first two weeks of going live. We immediately liked her and knew she was the right agent for us. We followed Michelle’s recommendations on pricing and presentation, and she took it from there- coordinating staging, contractors, and every detail of the listing. This was especially valuable since we had already relocated out of state. She truly orchestrated the entire process seamlessly. Our home went live on 11/15, we had multiple offers within one week, and we closed on 12/17 - just over 30 days from the initial listing. Michelle delivered exactly as promised. What sets Michelle apart is her confidence, clear and consistent communication, fast response time, strong contractor network, and the level of personal attention she provides throughout the process. Michelle is extremely professional and dependable. She keeps you updated and informed through the entire process. My biggest mistake not signing with her when I originally put my house up for sale. I recommend her and would definitely use her services in the future.

Michelle sold our house of 45 years on a 4 acre wooded lot and an adjoining 2.5 acre wooded buildable lot. These were separate transactions. Michelle was very helpful in preparing our house for sale. She has excellent taste and made several meaningful recommendations. We removed upstairs carpeting to expose beautiful hardwood floors. She had us remove some dated wallpaper and selected appropriate paint colors to provide a new and fresh look in key areas. She provided several bids and monitored the successful completion of all work. Michelle received several offers on our house and gave sound advise in negotiating the final contract. She supervised all inspections and requested additional evaluations, if the initial recommendations were unrealistic. This resulted in significant savings. Michelle got bids for a new well, minor septic repairs, and several other issues. She provided thorough follow up and was an excellent communicator with all parties. The settlement was stress free with no surprises. Her efforts resulted in very happy sellers and buyers. Michelle sold our 2.5 acre lot separately. A natural gas pipeline had been installed on the periphery of the lot. A survey was done and the lot was revised and approved by County to provide a new location for well and septic. A well was drilled and approved. Michelle got bids and carefully followed the completion of this work. This also included a house feasibility study for the buyers. The settlement was very smooth. Michelle was most professional and both sellers and buyers were very pleased with her dedication, efficiency, and professionalism. Michelle is truly an outstanding realtor. She is a class act and we were most fortunate to have her services. We couldn’t have been more pleased.
